The TelSiP Research Laboratory, utilizing its potential, as well as its international public relations, managed to implement and organizes on behalf of the University of West Attica the two-month voluntary internship program for Princeton University students abroad (International Internship Program – Princeton University). The prestigious American University’s volunteer work abroad initiative gives its students the opportunity to fulfill their academic and personal goals by living and working in carefully selected structures of research and academic institutions abroad.
The collaboration between the University of West Attica and the International Internship Program of Princeton University originates from the academic year 2019-2020, following an initial proposal by the faculty members of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of West Attica, Athanasios Nasiopoulos and Elias N. Zois.
It is worth mentioning the fact that the University of West Attica was the only academic host of IIP Princeton University in Greece for the period 2019-2023. In addition, the TelSiP Research Laboratory hosts interns from Princeton IIP in its premises for their research activities.
